The Tulip Folding Tool is a paper folding guide designed to work with compatible negotiators, making it easy to shape flat filter papers into a clean, four-sided form before brewing. Press, fold, remove, insert, and pre-wet — the whole process takes under 10 seconds and produces a perfectly shaped, seated filter every time. The Tulip also doubles as a stand for the negotiators between brews.

The design was originally created by Lin from GX in Taiwan as a printable folding guide, and was one of the first community contributions to the open-source OREA ecosystem. OREA adapted the concept into the Tulip, and a printable version remains available on their website for home use.

Compatibility: The Tulip is compatible with all narrow-profile Negotiators, including the Neo Negotiator, V3 Negotiator, and V4 Negotiator (3D printed).

Filter papers: Designed for use with flat filter papers.

Materials: 3D printed from Eco-PLA, made in London, UK.
