Tariff & Duties for Our U.S. Customers

Rogue Wave Coffee is based in Canada, and we ship all of our orders from our roastery and warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

ALL US ORDERS placed from now until, at the earliest, Friday Aug 29th at noon MST will be held and not shipped to assess the changes to the US Import tariff schedule that eliminates the de minimis import exemption.

As of August 29th: The U.S. has eliminated the De Minimis duty free exceptions for all shipment. Every low-value import are now subjected to full custom duties.

Due to this change in US Tariff that will take effect on Aug 29, Starting Aug 26th - Any applicable import duties are calculated and collected at checkout. You will be able to see how much duties are before completing your purchase.

Please expect some delays in custom clearance due to change in Tariff and Custom Policies.

Our recommendation: Please wait for about a week after Aug 29th to assess the situation before buying from outside of the USA.

Customs, Duties, and Tariffs

  • You are responsible for any customs and duty fees if deemed necessary by the US Custom service.
  • Tarif on Canadian Goods: A 25% tariff will be applies to most goods originating from Canada. This applies to manufacturing country. Products of China shipped from Canada do not qualify for "goods originating from Canada" .

  • August 26th update: Duties Collected at checkout: Any applicable import duties are calculated and collected at checkout. You will be able to see how much duties are before completing your purchase.

Rogue Wave Coffee does not retain or benefit from these Duties and tariffs. These charges are collected based on what the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP)'s current tariff schedule.

Carrier Brokerage Fees: Shipping carriers (like FedEx, UPS, USPS) act as customs brokers and handle clearance with U.S. Customs. They charge brokerage fees for this service.
