ORIGAMI developed the Sabi dripper at Koyo Ceramics to mark the release of its collaboration with Maruyoshi Kosaka Lacquerware. A soft, creamy rust-clay tone sits beneath a glaze reminiscent of transparent lacquer, and iron powder in the base gives the dripper a warm, earthy character. Combined with the natural lustre of porcelain, the finish feels calm and refined, a beautiful expression of the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi.

The glaze changes colour as it fires, so every Sabi dripper comes out of the kiln with its own unique texture.

Due to the nature of ceramics and the production process, you may notice fine irregularities or small holes on the surface depending on the colour and production period. These are natural characteristics of the piece, not defects.

Filter compatibility

Small ORIGAMI drippers are suitable for 1-2 cups of pour over coffee. They fit size 01 Hario filters, 1-2 cup Kono filters, Kalita 155 filters, as well as other small conical filters.
