When we are first roasting new coffees we run test profiles on the batches and they don't always quite meet the standards we have set for that bean on the first try.

Or very rarely a regular production batch doesn't cup as well as we would like and we pull it from being bagged.

Despite not being perfect for us, we think this coffee is still too good to not be enjoyed by someone. We don't say what coffee is in these bags and occasionally it will be a blend of batches, but we think it's a great bargain for an affordable everyday coffee and would rather sell it for a discount than see it go to waste.
