This is a Nano lot of just 23 bags.

We first experienced Ma Family coffee from the Cup of Excellence pilot program, Best of Thailand 2022 Competition. Ma Family placed 5th (Ma Process Yellow Catimor) and 15th (natural Catimor/Bourbon) We were impressed at how good the coffee from Ma Family was, however we were not able to bring in any coffee from that auction. In early 2023, Ply had a chance to go visit Ma Family Coffee Farm in Chiang Rai and was able to taste and we were able to buy their signature process coffee.

Switching from growing corn and peaches in 1987 to commercial coffee Ma Family Coffee Farm had been growing coffee for more than 35 years, mainly Catimor and Yellow Bourbon varieties. In 2007, Ken (Asadawoot Yapaenggoo) the current producer of Ma Family turned toward specialty coffee farming practices, elevating their coffee quality through sustainable farming and better processing.

This Anaerobic Natural lot was fermented for 14 days with Pichia Yeast.
