Cleaning and care
All MK Studio products are dishwasher safe. Unglazed surfaces can pick up light stains; frequent washing helps prevent them, and soaking in warm water with a detergent tab helps lift them. Diluted chlorine and lime remover can tackle very stubborn spots.
- Dark lines from silverware: Scrub with a sponge, dish soap and baking soda
- Grease stains on matte glaze: Use baking soda and water
- Greasy fingerprints: Rub the exposed porcelain with food-safe oil, let it sit, then wash with soap and water
Let boiling water stop bubbling before pouring it into any handmade piece, and pre-heat a very cold cup with hot tap water. Pouring boiling water into a cool handmade cup may crack the cup or its glaze.
