About ORIGAMI Tone Cups
ORIGAMI designed its Tone Cups around a simple idea: The shape of a cup changes how you experience your tea. Every tea has its own ideal brewing method, and temperature, aroma, and flavour develop differently as a result. The Tone series, which includes Fukami, Yoin, and Kaori, pairs each cup's form with a tea's character to bring those qualities forward and shape the aftertaste.
About Yoin
Yoin is made for teas brewed at lower temperatures to draw out sweetness and umami. Its rounded form and gently outward-curving rim let your tea flow softly over your tongue and spread throughout your whole mouth. From the very first sip, the flavour wraps around you and lingers long after, leaving a quiet, lasting aftertaste. It's a cup that stays in the background and lets your tea's charm shine.
Each Yoin cup is finished in a kiln-change glaze, so colour and texture vary from piece to piece. Yours may look slightly different from the product photos.
