South African Rooibos blended with traditional spices of cinnamon, cardamom, lemon peel, ginger, star anise, peppercorns, and cloves. A great caffeine free Chai blend.
The Tea Girl Notes:
This Chai has a very balanced warming blend of spices with forward flavours of anise, pepper, and ginger. The brew has very little bitterness due to the low tannin levels in Rooibos, so making a cup of Chai with milk and sugar is smooth and sweet. This blend is great evening treat and perfect before bed. The best way to make a cup of Chai is to brew 3 tsp in a large mug for 7 min, add in cream and 1 tsp of sugar. This tea can also be re-steeped, as the spices will keep brewing.
